Us, In a Nutshell
Well, not literally. That would be cramped.
We are a web design and development studio based in Northern Colorado but working globally. When you hire us, you primarily work with Jeremiah Tolbert, our founder, and a web designer & developer with over 10 years of experience. Depending on the scale of your project, Jeremiah may bring in his crack team of proven freelancers specializing in fields such as copy writing, SEO, and graphic design.
Why Publishing and Author Sites?
We could be getting rich building websites for yacht owners.
Jeremiah is a writer himself, and Clockpunk Studios was born to build websites for his fellow science fiction authors. Let’s face it—there are a lot of ugly author websites out there. And you have better things to do than build your own website, like write your next novel. We’ve made it our personal mission to make the world of author websites a better looking, more user-friendly place. Oh, and we sometimes get free books. Bonus!
Only Science Fiction?
You might be tempted to believe after looking through our portfolio that we only do science fiction and fantasy author websites. It’s not true! We’re happy to do websites for authors in any genre.
So don’t hesitate to contact us if you work in a genre or format that you don’t see represented in our portfolio. We’re flexible. We promise.
Only Publishing?
Not at all! While we’ve specialized in building WordPress-backed websites for authors and publishers, that doesn’t mean we’re not ecstatic about working with other industries.
We have our niche and we love it… but we’re not afraid to step outside of it. It gives us a rush of excitement and makes our toes tingle.
And Subcontracting?
Does the pope wear a really tall hat? We love to bring our expertise in WordPress and front end development to other projects. Getting a chance to work with other designers and developers is almost payment in and of itself.
Unfortunately, our utility companies do not accept networking opportunities as a valid form of payment. That said, we’re very affordable. Drop us a line!
